What this board is

Public places only: Royal Parks, WWT centres, RSPB and NatureScot reserves, reservoirs with public hides. We listed car parks and paths, not nests.

How to use it

Tap a gold pin or a name. You get what you might see, when to go, how to behave, and the official link. Filter by kind of water, or search Slimbridge, eider, Wales.

Before you go

Check opening times. Wetland centres are not always free. Take binoculars — the interesting ducks are often not on the picnic lawn. Several waters ban bread. Not every hide is step-free.

What we left off

Private lakes, decoy ponds, and anything whose access is a rumour. If your favourite ditch is missing, it may be because it should stay a ditch.
